[Overview] Georgia allows the use of electronic callers for
coyotes (except on WMA’s), and crows. Though the guidebook
does not state any provisions for the electronic decoys, it’s
always best to check your local laws.
In Georgia, there are around 70 to 80
WMA’s—all of which are tightly managed and monitored.
Electronic callers are not allowed in these areas. The main reason that
was stated is this; the WMA’s are hunted quite readily and there
are a lot of people out. Your chances of calling in another hunter are
greater than the chances of calling in an animal on a WMA. Use of
electronic callers is limited to public and private hunting grounds for
this reason—there are not as many people there as you would find
on a WMA.
