The FOXPRO Prowler is an excellent call for beginner predator hunters on a budget. Its durable, compact design offers maximum portability. It comes standard with 175+ (75 Premium Sounds plus FOXPRO's Free Sound Library) that cover a variety of species, distress sounds, and vocalizations and can store up to 300 sounds. The upgraded remote has a larger LCD screen than previous entry-level units, making screen navigation simple and easy to read. The Prowler weighs only 1.45 lbs with batteries, so you'll barely notice carrying it in the field. Connect an external speaker to the jack on the side of the unit for even more volume.

The Prowler remote is easy to operate and navigate through sound categories, so you can quickly change sounds while hunting. It has an elastomeric keypad making buttons easy to press, two user buttons, a mute button, volume up and down buttons, and more. The user buttons can be set to a preselected sound or an auxiliary function. The Prowler has an auxiliary jack making it compatible with the FoxJack 5, X-Decoy, and other approved devices (sold separately), so you can turn it into an all-inclusive and portable predator-calling machine. All these features in one amazing, compact, and high-quality unit make the Prowler an incredible value. FOXPRO recommends the use of high-capacity rechargeable NiMH batteries for the best overall performance. Please note that alkaline cells are not recommended for use in temperatures below 32°F/0°C.

Awesome customer service, my Prowler call was great for the first month or so that I had it, then it started getting stuck on one sound without being able to turn it up or down/ mute etc without me going and turning the call off from the speaker. But! I emailed FoxPro and they are now sending me a new call to replace the old one! Only downside to this call is it isn't near as loud as I would like to be for the big sage brush country I hunt.
